NHS Direct web site

We were informed on Monday, 8 March that we are one of six Buckinghamshire schools to benefit from the BSF initiative; with an investment of over £13 million at the college.

Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is a national programme which aims to bring all secondary schools up to new standards by creating 21st century learning environments. This will be achieved through significant investment in school buildings as well as ICT facilities.

This will mean a significant re-modelling of our current site and an incredible opportunity for the young people at CPCC now and for those in the future. We are very excited about this opportunity to significantly improve the learning environment for our young people. With our results improving each year this project supports our strategic vision for the future education of young people at CPCC.

We look forward to involving the students, parents, community and staff in the planning for this exciting future.

ROCK Challenge
Over 40 students represented the collage at the Rock Challenge dance event on Tuesday 23rd February. The performance 'Flight or Fight' devised and directed by Mrs Gromnicki was wonderful and the college secured an award for Performance Skills.

Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Chesham Park Community College web site. How do we see ourselves, and what do we strive to offer you and your children? We see ourselves both as a community within our walls and at the same time as a part of the greater community, that of Chesham and beyond.

We are in partnership with our parents and students to ensure a happy, caring and supportive environment within which we all work together to achieve the very highest standards. Those standards apply to all aspects of our life - academic learning, creativity, sport, and not least, respect for one another.

That is why we offer all our students the chance to learn and grow, the right to be listened to and express themselves. We provide a clear set of expectations about behaviour, which aims at fairness to all. We regularly celebrate the many successes of the young people at the College. Students at Chesham Park are proud to wear our uniform.

We expect all members of Chesham Park to follow our ethos of ‘Commitment, Care and Community’. We are proud of all our young people; they are supported by a dedicated team of staff at the College. We value the support we receive from our parent body in encouraging their young people to have high aspirations and clear personal goals.

Our dedicated PTA support our community in raising funds to allow us to purchase additional learning resources and extra equipment. A range of enjoyable events are spread across the year, examples of previous events include: Quiz Evenings, ‘Parkfest’, Fashion Show not forgetting the weekly Bingo for the local residents.

The purpose of this site is to expand our points of communication with parents/guardians. I hope you will find this site informative and of use. If you can suggest any other sections to add, please contact the College.
